Homepage Hero Image and Layout

What this article covers:
The hero section is the large first section of the campaign homepage. PoliticalWin supports structured hero options without turning the dashboard into a page builder.

Steps:
1. Open Dashboard > Campaign Profile.
2. Upload a candidate photo or hero image.
3. Optionally upload a full-width hero background image. This image can also be used as a polished subpage masthead background.
4. Choose the hero display mode: image card, background image, background plus card, or template color only.
5. Keep the slogan short so it does not crowd the hero.
6. Preview the homepage after saving.

Important notes:
- Background images should be wide, with faces near the center/top third, because the image crops differently on phones and shorter subpage mastheads.
- If a face is getting cropped, upload a version with more room above the head or switch to image card mode for the homepage.
